Ray Morris is desperately seeking (sounds like a TV program) to get in touch with FSgt Maurie Fawcett and/or LAC Brian Weir (Ranks substantive in 1977) or any other SNCO that was at Ground Radio Butterworth back in 1977. Can anyone help? Ray writes, “If you do have detail on them but prefer to ask them to contact me instead, can you ask them to call me on **** *** ***. Or if they prefer they can SMS me and I will call them straight back.” Can anyone help. PS. We've just heard - Ray has found him - so no further calls please.....tb ******* Shaun Osborne wrote, “Hi there, tripped over the Radschool’s stuff whilst I was searching for some other stuff and thought you might be interested in the 36RAC site built to support a re-union in 2002. (www.cybergate9.net/36rac/). Number 36 Radio Apprentice Course (36Appy) was formed in 1982 to train as electronics technicians. Graduations took place in 1984 and in some cases these blokes have not seen each other since. I now work at the The Fitzwilliam Museum, University of Cambridge, (UK) been over here about four years now as am one of those honorary brits as my mother was born here... cheers Shaun” ******* Geoff Reddish is looking for Doug Pankhurst (we’ve lost his address)—can anyone help??
Diane Dirou (ex-9Sqn assoc) is trying to locate Roger Bateson ?CO 36 or 37 SQN and Geoff Lumsden. Can anyone help? ******* Graham Pattison, who now lives in the US wrote, I came across your Radtech Association web site and newsletters to find an old buddy of mine, Bob Goonan’s pic riding dirt bikes in Darwin. I was stationed in Darwin around that time and got Bob into dirt bikes…I was a Telstech from 4TMT? I think. Any info on contacting him would be appreciated. Can anyone help?? Does anyone know the whereabouts of Dallas Priester?? For a number of years Owen Zupp has been researching the RAAF in Korea. Some time back he received information from Ian Symonds, which included a number of images. He is currently preparing some storyboards for an aviation museum and would like to seek Ian’s approval to use some of these images. He says "Unfortunately, due to a computer meltdown in the intervening period, I have lost his email". (so have we–tb) Can anyone help us get in touch with Ian.
What happened to Robur coffee????
Terry Pinkerton, ex 30Sqn and 9Sqn is still looking for Graeme Younghusband who was with 30Sqn as a Radtech in the mid 60,s. Can anyone help??
Pennie Jursa is the daughter of Walter James Meriton who served in the RAAF as a Radar Technician between 1961 and 1970. She says “His postings consisted of Laverton, Perth and Townsville. My father has recently passed away and I was hoping to make contact with anyone who may have served with him. If anyone was to remember him I would really appreciated it if they could contact me.” If you can help, please let us know and we’ll put you in touch. Tb |

The Main Library at Indiana University sinks over an inch every year because when it was built, engineers failed to take into account the weight of all the books that would occupy the building. |
